ABOUT ME
Hello and welcome to my portfolio site. Right now it's very out of date but I'll be working over the next few weeks to get it updated. In the meantime you can download my 2011 Interaction Design Portfolio in pdf format.
I have been specializing in the field of Interaction and User Experience Design for the past 3 years, but I have been involved with designing for the web (both visual and interaction) since 2006 and multi-media (3D animation and game design) before that. My journey has taken me on a circuitous route to where I am now, but I find that this eclectic experience enables me to take on a variety of design challenges with grace, creativity and exceptional quality. I love being in a role that allows me to design fun, interactive experiences which are built on a foundation of best practice, innovation and creative thinking.
I am currently (and happily) employed at Fluid, in San Francisco. Fluid is a full service web design agency that specializes in Ecommerce, and works with high profile clients such as The North Face, Jansport, Calvin Klein, Diane Von Furstenberg, Kenmore, Craftsman, JELD-WEN, and more... A few of the tasks I do on a day to day basis are: Creating schematics (wireframes), writing functional specifications, building clickable prototypes, conceptualizing user experience flows, and (probably MOST important) communicating all these deliverables to clients in formal presentations. My role there as Senior Interaction Designer puts me in a position where I can learn and grow as an interaction design and usability professional.
